The rule of art

Art creates light.  Not in the sense of “being enlightened,” which is a human belief construct, but in the sense of providing the means to actually see what is there.   

We think/believe that what we see is what is there. That may be true. But our human vision, even physically, is limited [see the mantis shrimp].
