It is, it was, a special place. Jodie would always have my tiara ready—Jodie is just a warm, funny, wonderful person—Jodie would say, “Whisper, welcome home.” Whisper was my avatar’s name, as a power user I had a bespoke avatar. I’d go up to Gear Bar, or City Lights, and see if there were other power users on the floor, we had a whole community . . . That night, no, I had no idea what was going on, I was out of town and I couldn’t log in, I was frantic—Of course I’m upset! If Dark Factory was closed, it could reopen, but it’s worse than closed, I wouldn’t step foot in there if they paid me—[Break] Of course it’s emotional to me. I truly loved Dark Factory, and those people ruined it all.
